7/25: Laugh the Rain Away

Out-of-tunes, big laughs, and a musical circus

TUNE IN: Get your girls or guys together tonight, don’t forget to warm up in the car and finally, pick your favorite pastime tunes. Either that or knock back five for $15 Bud Light bottles, one or two $6 martinis and pick the first Backstreet Boys song you find. 88’s Dueling Pianos Idol Karaoke Competition at Seminole Hardrock Hotel and Casino hosts an accapella fest every Sunday coupled with awesome drink specials to build a little confidence and let your inner idol out. Be there by 8 P.M.

SUNDAY FUNDAY
: After a weekend of sheer drear and rain it’s time sit back and smile. Patrice O’Neal takes the stage at the Miami Improv tonight, bringing his HBO, The Office, and Arrested Development worthy talent to the stage. This 6’5” 300 pound mega comic is known to inspire big laughs through “The Nasty Show” and his impersonation of a skinny, struggling eastern European gymnast. Show starts at 8:30 P.M., 18 and older, two drink minimum. Get your tickets starting at $21.40.

CIRCUS ROCK:
Free entertainment is hard to find, free parking is even harder. Well, parking still costs but at least Bayside Marketplace provides free entertainment every night. This afternoon at 1:30 P.M., the Brazilian Explosion hits the Marina Stage until 5:30 PM. If that’s too early, Rock N Roll Circus takes the stage from 7–11 P.M. So take your drink from Let's Make A Daiquiri, move to the music and enjoy the bayside view.
