Aquabooty Turns Ten

Miami dance party celebrates a decade of bustin' moves

Dance music isn’t just for the shirtless sweaty masses eating handfuls of ecstasy on the Ibiza shore. Thanks to Aquabooty, Miami's laid-back dance night, there’s a place to listen to electronic music and not feel weighed down by Euro-trash.

For the last decade, this roaming night has brought the underground house and soul music to clubs all over the beach and downtown. The energy is always fun and the crowd diverse but still stylish. There are young ladies, old dudes, hipsters and house-heads shmoozing and boozing together. It’s the kind of night where you'll fit in no matter what and everyone at least sways to the music. Yes, there will be house and yes, you will grudgingly, or not so grudgingly, enjoy it.

The DJs making tonight’s celebration danceworthy include Dixon (Innervisions/ Berlin), Greg Cuoco (Aquabooty/NYC), DHM (Aquabooty/Miami), Tomas (Aquabooty/Miami), Sheldon Prince (Traxsource/Lust4house) and Jason Wiggill (Lust4house). Just relax and let Aquabooty house you.

Tonight at 11, get to The Electric Pickle on time.
