Think you have what it takes to brave the waves? The competition brings some of the best professional wakeboarding athletes to compete against those willing to give it a go in the water. Top amateurs take note: This could be your big break on the wake with prizes including a purse of $10,000.
On Friday, the US Open of Wakeboarding gets underway when adrenaline junkies strapped to speedboats do some serious flipping and flying through the air. Amateurs who score in the top of the Open get a chance to ride alongside the big guys on Saturday.

Music, swimsuit fashion shows, Nike’s Swim Miami and a Dragon Boat race round out the festivities, with proceeds from a portion of the events benefiting H2O’s Foundation.
If ever there was a weekend to get wet, this is it. Are you ready to dive in?
