Colombian Singer Maluma Debuts at the Billboard Music Awards

Last night, Colombian global music superstar Maluma made his debut on the Billboard Music Awards' stage alongside icon mega-star Madonna for the premiere of their brand-new collaboration titled "Medellin."

"I was blessed to have such an icon invite me to perform with her," said Maluma. "Today we placed the Latin flag within the award show, where I represented Medellin, my hometown and shared with the world that dreams do come true."

This special performance of "Medellin" featured several hologram versions of the Material Girl with an enhanced CGI set that included elements from the single's music video.

This worldwide televised premiere performance of "Medellin" is slated to appear on Madonna's forthcoming album titled "Madame X" out June 14.

Maluma, who has been touring around the world to sold out concerts, just announced his return to the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico starting next September 6th with a concert in San Diego.

His MALUMA 11:11 World Tour will be making stops in more than 21 venues including the American Airlines Arena in Miami and Madison Square Garden in New York City with two nights at the Forum in Los Angeles.

The 2019 Billboard Music Awards aired LIVE on NBC 6 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
