Dozens of Tires Slashed Overnight at Deerfield Beach Apartment Complex

"Someone comes late to work, it could cost them their job," one resident said

Dozens of vehicles were vandalized at a Deerfield Beach apartment complex overnight.

Residents at the Tivoli Park Apartments noticed slashed tires at dawn on Friday.

Billy Jack told NBC 6 he had to replace all of his tires.

"It wasn't one person that was struck by this. This is almost 60 residents that got their tires slashed for no reason," Jack said. "What do they have to gain from stabbing people's tires? Innocent people's tires. Where's the logic in that? I don't get it. I don't understand."

Authorities began investigating the incident that has affected dozens of families in the community.

"If this is some sort of practical joke to them; it's not funny. It's gonna cost a lot of people of money ... someone comes late to work, it could cost them their job," Jack added.
