Don't feel like schlepping around town tonight? This year, you don't have to since Fashion's Night Out has recruited e-shops to participate in the festivities. Unfortunately, there are just a handful of sites that make it worth your while—most have just slapped a "Fashion's Night Out" tab on their homepage and called it a day. Others are simply offering FNO branded merch. But a selective few have stepped up their fashion game to present curated collections and brand new fall wares. Here, a look at the sites to bookmark tonight:
Amazon.com
Not exactly the first place you'd think to visit on FNO, but surprisingly, Amazon has some pretty cool offerings up for grabs. They've enlisted Refinery29's ed-in-chief Christene Barberich to style some outfits for the night. Some highlights: a Rebecca Minkoff fur-lined trench ($698); Trina Turk ankle length pants in red ($208); and Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincen's Nordic cardigan ($275). There's also the usual assortment of FNO merch.
BostonProper.com
If you haven't checked out BP lately, do yourself a favor and check it out tonight. Its fall offerings are incredibly on trend—see this wool cape and these leopard booties for proof. From 6–11p.m, swing by their Facebook page, for more fall trends and a chance to win gift certificates and more goodies.
Net-a-porter.com
The luxury fashion website is introducing The Window Shop for FNO, a pop-up graphic store that gives you access to the season's hottest looks from your phone or iPad 2. Just download the app, visit the shop and start adding the fab merch to your cart. If you've been eyeing the wild rose print Mary Katrantzou dress, now's the time to buy it—especially since it requires just a few taps on the ol' phone.
Piperlime.com
Rachel Zoe has long been involved with the website, curating collections, giving styling tips and offering Zoe-isms along the way, but for FNO, Piperlime introduces three guest editors: Olivia Palermo, Rachel Bilson and Byrdie Bell. Click over to see the Shoshanna party dress Palermo recommends; the Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse Rachel Bilson picks; and the Belle by Sigerson Morrison bootie that Byrdie Bell is lusting after. (Don't miss the videos spotlighting each editor—Bilson's was our fave.)
QVC.com
Last year, QVC received more than 181 million phone calls in the U.S. alone, selling more than $7 billion worth of goods. Tonight, they're broadcasting from New York City from 9 p.m. to midnight, introducing some of their new lines including Wildlife by Heidi Klum and Kris Jenner Collection. Check out QVC regulars Isaac Mizrahi and Marc Bouwer's musings on FNO here.
RueLaLa.com
If Fashion's Night Out has inspired you to pull out the big guns, then you'll want to spend a few hours on Rue La La tonight. The members-only website has teamed up exclusively with MadisonAvenueCouture.com to host a special FNO boutique with merchandise from MAC's arsenal. This includes vintage handbags and accessories from Hermès and Louis Vuitton. The sale begins at 6 p.m.
ShopItToMe.com
Do you already get those Monday morning emails, alerting you to your favorite brands massively discounted? If not, join ASAP. If you do, you'll want to stick close to the Internet between 6–11p.m. Members will get updates on all the FNO happenings pertaining to their favorite brands, so if you're dying for Botkier's Charlotte bag or a Stella McCartney sheath, you'll be the first to know when it's marked down.
Shopbop.com
The ecommerce site is setting up a location in New York's Meatpacking District where stylist Louise Roe will interview Shopbop designers, stylists, bloggers and fashion lovers alike (Vogue's Meredith Melling Burke will be there as will designers including Jenni Kayne, Charlotte Ronson, Pamela Love and Rachel Roy). It will be streaming live right here. While you're watching, browse official FNO goods and an assortment of amazing goods including these Classic Newbury suede booties by Rag & Bone ($495) and this long sleeve plaid dress by Sonia Rykiel ($1,610).
