Happy hours that require you to do a mad dash from downtown to the same-old, same-old bar scene on the Beach are more work than they’re worth. You already put in your hours from 9 to 5. It’s time to get off the clock once and for all.
Enter Indigo Restaurant & Bar at InterContinental Miami. The bar’s latest endeavor, Lounge Nights, tests out the waters tonight and officially kicks off tomorrow from 5 to 9 p.m.
Look for live beats, free cocktails from 5 until 6 p.m. for the ladies and discounted drinks and eats for everyone all the way until 9. That’s nearly four hours later than most happy hours. You may even be able to stay for that last-minute conference call bomb your boss drops just as you’re about to walk out the door. Nah. You’ve got places to be, people to see and drinks to fill you with glee.
Feel free to do it all over again tomorrow night, as the event is every Wednesday and Thursday.
