Italian Stylin'

Bal Harbour boutique holds book bash

There’s something molto bene about Italian life.

Tuesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Tod’s boutique in Bal Harbour, fashionistas that have never been to The Boot will have the opportunity to find out why with the Miami launch of "Italian Touch."

The limited edition book from luxury goods specialist Tod’s celebrates the Italian lifestyle. Edited by journalist Donata Sartorio and photographed by Paolo Leone, the book is a collection of pictures of people and their families in cities and small villages all over Italy.

Sartorio and Leone travelled across Italy for several months interviewing over a hundred families to put together the book.

Diego Della Valle, President of Tod’s Group said the book represents the brand Tod.

“We are pleased to support a project that evokes the world of modern Italians and their values in terms of style, elegance, tradition, culture and evolution," he said. "These are the same values Tod’s refers to.”

The evening will also feature the Tod’s fall collection, including the iconic Winter Gommino boot and D Bag.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit The Diabetes Research Institute.

To attend RSVP to Todsitaliantouch@thepattongoupinc.com or call 305.534.0081 ext. 14.
