Jose Gonzalez at Bardot

Junip and Jose Gonzalez: Gentle Argentine-Swedish singer Jose Gonzalez has resurrected Junip, the band he started 10 years ago before his solo work too off, and brings his pals to Bardot tonight for a double-header: once the group gig is through, he'll hit the decks for a DJ set. 9 p.m.

Black Uhuru: The Kingston-bred winners of the very first Grammy Award for best reggae album roll into Grand Central tonight, with a ridiculous resume in tow: they've worked with dance producer Arthur Baker, toured with the Rolling Stones, Clash, Police, and U2, and had Keith Richards jam in-studio. Get your 'Shine Eye Gal' on for $20 advance, $25 at the door. 9 p.m.

Craft Beer Tasting: the Mayfair Hotel & Spa in Coconut Grove kicks off a new every-third-Wednesday craft beer tasting tonight, when a beer expert leads a sampling of over 40 craft beers from local microbreweries and local trattoria Spartico provites the nibbles. $20, reservations required 305-779 –5100; 7 to 9 p.m.

Going out can be a gamble, so why leave it up to chance? Stack the deck every day by peeping Play's Dance Card.
