Recessionistas Love LC's Line

Lauren Conrad's Kohl's collection is trendy and cheap

Since Lauren Conrad’s new line of clothing hit  Kohl’s department stores recently, plenty of South Florida gals have been stocking up on the recessionista friendly collection.

Conrad’s eponymous line called LC Conrad starts at $20 for a camisole and retails as much as $60 for a dress.

Like her other pricey collection, Lauren Conrad, the Kohl’s line features lots of trendy casual wear with California chic flair.

Find boyfriend blazers, cardigans, boyfriend jeans, skinny jeans and leggings.

When it comes to frocks, there’s a small assortment of dresses from sheaths to flowy tanks to her most popular: the LC Lauren Conrad Water Color Ruffled Dress.

The knee-skimming frock has a belt and offers a floral watercolor pattern in red and gray.

By far, the biggest selection in the line are the tops. There’s long and short sleeve striped tees, solid Dolman tops and some featuring patterns as well as chiffon blouses with prints.

“I am so happy to be able to make clothes that are accessible to the fans who have made this all possible in the first place,” said Conrad on her MySpace page about the new line.

Fans of LC are just as ecstatic.

On a recent shopping excursion to the Kohl’s in The Palms at Town & Country, we found plenty of Kendall denizens scouring the racks.

Ingrid Vega, 27, was in love with the collection.

“I liked her other line, but it was too expensive,” said Vega. “This one is just as cute and is more affordable for me.”
