The Party People's Big Three for This Halloween

You’re a whiz with tricks. You doubly dig treats. And that kickass costume you’ve created will out-wow even the most wowsome in town. And though the number of invitations you’ve received for this Halloween is downright obscene, you’re determined to see and be seen, no matter what. To get you goin’ straight to where the maddest action is, Niteside has decided to provide a shortlist of the Top 3 Halloween parties of the year. Each will be all that and then some, and all will be as exciting as each. Party on party people!

Beam Me Up!

To say Supermarket Creative’s 7th Annual Halloween Bash promises to be more of a must than ever is kinda like saying All Hallow’s Eve is a night made for crazies. In other words: it’s a given. Add the fact that the superlative squad will be teaming with such esteemed outfits as Veni Vidi Vici, Sweat Records and Spinello Projects; doing the dizzy with DJs Ess & Emm, Mister Drake, Lolo, The Kid, Bonnie Beats and Smeejay; getting vividly visual with TM SISTERS, Stian Roenning and Jessy Nite; flash fixing with Contesta Rock Hair and Stash Wardrobe; and fueling with Dos Equis; and, well, that unmitigated given is guaranteed to be as great as all get out. The party tagline teasingly reads: “This year the reigning fashion and art costume party will take you back to the future of the swinging Space Age era of 1965; when Paco Rabanne and Pierre Cardin ruled the galactic runway.” Word on the street is simply: We. Can’t. Wait.

HALLOWYNWOOD

What do you get when you mix one spooky holiday with one uber cool neighborhood? HALLOWYNWOOD, that’s what. Put into play by Ragatronic gal Niki Em, backed by the great good folks at Product/81, and featuring a Killer Koncert from both Krisp and Beatmachines, a Magical Marketplace created by 305 Green, and a Haunted Gallery devised by Miami’s Independent Thinkers, not to mention enough tricks and treats to sate all the savage beasts, this throwdown will prove that the up-and-coming is already here. Product/81’s own Joel Fernandez is keen on seeing “local artists, musicians and small businesses come together for a family friendly event that will really reflect everything the neighborhood is about.” Ringleader Niki Em, in contrast, says “Get your spook on!”

Jack Honey’s Halloween Blowout

Pagan holiday? Check. Full moon? Check. Fueled by sweet elixir in a South Beach landmark on one of the world’s wildest strips? Check, check and check again. Such are the core components of Jack Honey’s Halloween Blowout, which begins poolside at the exquisitely- appointed Delano Beach Club and ends inside at the inn’s prestigiously with-it FDR. Putting their sublime spin on the swingin’ occasion will be Treasure Fingers and DJ Ruen, and the Honey Jack cocktails will be flowing like a fountain straight outta Ponce de Leon. Nightlife legend and consummate host Chris Paciello says “Full Moon is truly going to be over the top this month, [and the] Delano is definitely the place to be this Halloween weekend.” Considering that’s that cat who’s been in on more over-the-top action than just about anyone in town, we’re gonna concur. But don’t simply take his word (or ours) -- hit the hotspot and dig for yourself. You’ll thank all the lucky stars in the morning.

Monday October 29 at The Delano. For more information log on here.
