Miami-Dade Schools Police are working with the FBI to investigate multiple social media threats warning of a shooting at Miami Springs Middle School.
School board officials confirmed Tuesday that they are working with the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force to find the source of the threatening messages.
"ALL OF Miami springs middle school kids are gonna die when i shoot up the school!" one of the posts read.
Another threat shows a picture of a rifle with a similar message that the school will be shot up.
There was extra police presence at the school Tuesday but officials said they expect a regular school day.
