They're Real, and They're Spooktacular

Your guide to some of the hottest Halloween parties in town

Snooki, Steven Slater, tar ball? With all the creepy fun happening this weekend, you may have to do all three.

Saturday

1.21 GIGAWATTS! The Living Room at the W Fort Lauderdale will be transformed into a time warp, where, for $60, guests get an open bar and tunes by DJ Kevin Graham. 9 P.M.-midnight.

READY FREDDY? At Cafeina in Wynwood, it's a Nightmare on 23rd Street, complete with a costume contest (winner gets a trip to the Big Easy for Mardi Gras) and complimentary SoCo shots, which is sure to turn any Freddy Krueger into Marilyn Monroe by the end of the night. 8 P.M.-3 A.M.

WHAT THE HELL: You always looked good in red, so we think you'll love Save Dade's Hellrotika, which will feature a costume contest, tunes and performances by Rainbow Circus and Shameless Burlesque.

HIALEAH HALLOWEEN: As if Miami's Bermuda Triangle isn't scary enough, tonight there will be art, performances and music from some of Miami's most creative ghouls and goblins. $3 and a costume gets you in and free beer. The Annex, 9811 NW 80th Ave., #7-D. 9 P.M.

GOTH TALK: No one puts on a Halloween party like the Raleigh, and this year should be no different. Gatsby Gone Goth is the theme, and you'll be treated to live performances, DJs and complimentary cocktails from 9-10 P.M.

HALLOWEEN AT THE HERZOG: Lincoln Road is always a must-stop for the costume savvy and those who love them. This year, though, avoid the cluster-eff and head upward - to the rooftop of the Herzog & de Meuron Building at 1111 Lincoln Road. Open bar, costume contest, treats, fortune tellers and, of course, DJs, are all on tap. 9 P.M.-2 A.M.

OH, THE HORROR: What would Halloween be without a screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show? Gusman's doing the honors, so put on your best tranny attire and head downtown. Afterparty at Grand Central, where NYC's Eclectic Method performs. 8 P.M.

MASQUERADE MOTEL: That's the theme for this Halloween shindig, which will take place inside a 54,000-square-foot arena built just for this event. Live performances by Swedish House Mafia and Brazilian Girls make for a thriller night. 3 P.M.-Midnight.

WE WANT CANDY: Like your Halloween more sweet than scary? Head to the Mondrian Hotel for their Candyland-themed party, which will feature music by Brooklyn Dawn and complimentary caipirinhas from 10-11 P.M.

Sunday

THE HANGOVER: Did somebody call a sexy doctor? Head to Whiskey Blue's Hangover Halloween, where there'll be drink specials, a costume contest and tunes by DJ Graham Funke. 9 P.M.-whenevs.

BOO AT THE BUCK: Buck 15 celebrates all things spooky with complimentary drinks for the ladies til midnight and 2-for-1 drinks for the gents. Best costume gets $100 bar tab. 11 P.M.-5 A.M.

THRILLER NIGHT: The Van Dyke takes the Lincoln Road Halloween madness one step further by shutting down part of the street for live music by Tony Succor and his 12-piece "Thriller Salsa Band," which will pay tribute to Michael Jackson. Costume contest and more music upstairs, too. 8 P.M.
