Toro Toro's Cocktail Competition 

Downtown Miami’s contemporary Pan-Latin steakhouse, Toro Toro is looking for a signature cocktail to include in its Miami Spice 2013 restaurant promotion. What better way to choose one than to hold a Miami Spice Cocktail Competition where the restaurant’s bartenders go head-to-head in a “shake off” and ask diners to help select the winning drink by voting for their favorite concoction. On Monday, July 22, the third and final week of the competition begins. The winners of round one and round two will compete for diners’ votes for the most inventive and delicious cocktail. Patrons will be offered a complimentary taste of each cocktail and given a voting card to choose their favorite drink. A full size serving of the contestant’s cocktails will also be available for purchase at the reduced price of $5 each. The cocktail champion will be announced Monday, July 29; the winning bartender will receive a cash prize and their drink will be named the official Toro Toro Miami Spice cocktail which will be available as a special cocktail on the Spice menu for $5.  For more information visit: http://www.torotoromiami.com.
Chefs Michael B. Jacobs and Steve Permaul invite you to Dine Underground
Chef Michael B. Jacobs (Miami Heat, Strategic Hospitality Management Miami, The Hidden Kitchen) is hosting the second installment of his already buzzy underground dining affair, The Hidden Kitchen Workshop, on Wednesday, July 24, beginning at 7 p.m. The ultra-exclusive, invitation-only multi-course dinner will begin with a cocktail and hors d’ oeuvres reception, followed by a preview of  Chef Steve Permaul’s soon-to-open downtown Miami multi-concept dining and social destination.

Taste of the Nation South Florida
