What You're Doing Tonight, 3/16

Big leaguers, straight jackets and jam sessions make for an interesting night

JUST JACK: Before Britney made the mental ward fashionable, Jack Nicholson was exploring padded rooms as Randle P. McMurphy. See the role that earned him his first Oscar at Cinema Verite’s screening of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” Then head over to the Paradiso Patio to discuss this boatload of crazy. 7 p.m.

JAZZ IT UP: Let your brain unwind from your first post-weekend day at the office with a little jazz at Churchill’s Jazz Jam. From old school to new school, Miami musicians find the rhythm together at this open jam session. 11:30 p.m.

SWING, BATTA BATTA, SWING: The World Cup of baseball, The World Baseball Classic, hits a homer with baseball fanatics tonight at Dolphin Stadium and airs on ESPN. Only the second ever installment of the international tournament, expect to see professional Major League players competing for the title of world champion now through March 18. 8 p.m.
