Police say they've arrested a woman who fled the scene after she struck and killed an elderly man in Hialeah while behind the wheel of a stolen car.
Maydelis Pulido, 23, was arrested early Thursday on a charge of leaving the scene of a crash involving death in the Tuesday crash that killed 79-year-old Orlando Quiala, Hialeah Police officials said.

Police said an anonymous tip that was corroborated by a confidential informant led them to Pulido and the car. Detectives worked "diligently day and night following every lead possible," officials said in a statement.
Pulido was booked into jail where she being held on $10,000 bond Thursday, records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
