Police haven't given any details on the shooting. Officers were at the scene early Wednesday morning looking at a car that was covered in bullet holes.

One woman said she heard the shooting just as she was about to go to bed.

"Like rapid fire, like five to six shots back to back to back and then 10 shots from the bigger caliber gun, it was just rapid fire," witness Shakeva Evans said.

The shooting happened right outside Janet Parker's home. She said she hit the floor when the bullets started flying.

"I was crawling on my knees 'cause I didn't know if they was still shooting or not," Parker said.

Parker said she recognized the man who'd been shot.

"In the head, all over, they lit him up at least 10, 15 rounds," Parker said.

The shooting comes just days after a similar shooting in Opa-locka that claimed the life of a 27-year-old man and injured a woman.
