At least two suspects who were involved in a Miami-Dade home invasion were taken into custody after a perimeter and police search early Wednesday.
The incident began around 2 a.m. when four suspects kicked in a door in the 300 block of Northeast 111th Street, Miami-Dade Police spokesman Det. Alvaro Zabaleta said.
Zabaleta said the suspects stole two vehicles, a burgandy newer model Ford F-150 and a Black Dodge Challenger.

The F-150 had a tracking device that police tracked down to the area of Northwest 99th Street and 11th Avenue, Zabaleta said.
As officers arrived, they saw the suspects abandon the F-150 and try to flea the area, Zabaleta said.
A chase began and ended in the area of Northwest 41th Street and Northwest 15th Avenue.
Police set up a perimeter and eventually caught two of the suspects in the area. The other two suspects haven't been arrested and the Challenger hasn't been found, police said.
No one in the home was hurt, police said.
It's believed the men were armed, and police are still investigating the incident, Zabaleta said.

"Anybody that is willing to commit a home invasion, kick a door in at 1:48 in the morning to enter a residence is obviously someone that we're gonna consider to be armed and dangerous," Zabaleta said. "If they're that brazen to do that then we're gonna treat them as if they're armed."
