Authorities Search For Stolen Box of Dangerous Drugs

The orange box has the initial "RSI" on it.

Authorities in South Florida need the public's help in finding a box of dangerous drugs, which were stolen from a West Palm Beach city emergency vehicle,  WPTV reported.

The small orange box has the initials "RSI" on it and was stolen from the supervisor's vehicle on Saturday. Authorities said that if the medications are injected or ingested, they can leave a person paralyzed or unconscious without being able to breathe, which will kill.

The box has three vials of Ketamine, three syringes of Etomidate and two vials of Norcuron. The Ketamine is in small brown vials with a white label, the Etomidate is in syringes with no needle and Norcuron is in medium sized vials, WPTV reported.

It wasn't immediately clear why the drugs were in the vehicle.

Anyone with information should call the West Palm Beach Fire Department at 561-644-0527.
