‘Beauty Bandit' Back in Broward Jail

Probation violation puts scammer back in South Florida jail

South Florida's 'Beauty Bandit' was back behind bars in Broward Thursday on a probation violation.

Maria Chrysson, 31, was arrested Wednesday and was being held without bond, court and jail records showed.

The details of the probation violation weren't immediately known.

Chrysson was sentenced to four years' probation in February after accepting a plea deal on charges related to stealing Botox treatments.

The dark-haired head turner was arrested in August 2010 and charged with grand theft, identity theft and fraud in Broward and Miami-Dade for ripping off doctors who performed Botox and other procedures on her.

Three doctors said Chrysson had the treatments performed on her then skipped out when it came time to pay the bill.

In September 2010, she was sentenced in Miami-Dade to two years' probation and 100 hours of community service after pleading guilty to third-degree theft.

After February's plea deal, Chrysson said she was moving from Miami to North Carolina and was going back to school.
