Beer Bottles Used in Brutal Attack After Party at Dania Beach

Group facing charges for beer bottle attack after they're kicked out of party

A group of men upset after they were kicked out of a Dania Beach party returned with beer bottles to badly beat and stab the two hosts, authorities said Wednesday.

Five men in their early 20s are all facing battery and burglary charges in the violent attack that left two victims with severe lacerations which caused permanent disfigurement, according to a Broward Sheriff's Office report.

According to the report, the attack happened Saturday at a home on Southwest 8th Avenue after the five men were kicked out of a party by a BSO deputy for causing a disruption.

After the party was over, the group returned armed with beer bottles and made their way into the unlocked home single file, the BSO said.

Inside, they confronted two men and in retaliation for getting kicked out, "battered and stabbed the victims with broken bottles and shards of a large broken glass mirror," the report said.

Surveillance video captured the men walking through the front door then quickly leaving after the alleged attack.

The victims were taken to memorial Regional Hospital with severe lacerations throughout their bodies which required surgery, the report said.

Anthony Fernandez, 21, and Ryan Demars, 22, both of Dania Beach, and 22-year-old Nicholas Law, of Westin, were arrested Saturday, the report said. Julian Cantalupo, 23, of Fort Lauderdale, and Emanuele Pariasca, 22, of Hollywood, were arrested Tuesday.

All five were being held without bond Wednesday. It was unknown whether they have attorneys.
