Police have identified Maurice McDuffie, 43, as the man whose body was found early Wednesday on a northwest Miami-Dade street.
He was killed at about 4:09 a.m. near the intersection of NW 90th Street and NW 22nd Avenue, and police found his body about six minutes later, Miami-Dade Police said. They closed off the area to investigate.
Someone beat McDuffie to death with a bat, according to investigators.
Police put out a flyer seeking information about the homicide. They ask that you call 305-471-2400 with information -- or, if you wish to remain anonymous, to call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
Police have not said if there are any suspects.
