It was a dangerous day to be on Miami-Dade roadways after one person was killed in an accident and another crash closed a part of the Palmetto Expressway Friday.
The fatal crash happened on U.S. 1 near Southwest 160th Street. One person was killed and another was taken to Jackson memorial Hospital.
The details of the crash were unknown.
An earlier crash on the Palmetto Expressway happened at Northwest 17th Avenue. The Palmetto was closed in both directions as an air rescue helicopter responded.
The details of the crash and injuries were also unknown.
