Firefighters responded to a Hallandale Beach retirement resort Monday morning after a blaze broke out in the laundry room, officials said.
The fire happened around 6:30 a.m. at Seaside Retirement Resort at 2091 S. Ocean Drive.

Hallandale Beach spokesman Daniel Sullivan said the fire was quickly extinguished without injuries.
