A homeowner was injured when a fire swept through a house in southwest Miami-Dade Monday morning, officials said.
The fire was reported at the home at 159th Street and Southwest 139th Place, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokesman Arnold Piedrahita Jr. said.
The home was fully involved when firefighters arrived but they were able to quickly get it under control, Piedrahita said. Firefighters were also working to secure propane tanks that were stored inside the home.
The homeowner suffered a minor burn injury and was treated at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
