The flyover ramp from southbound University Drive to eastbound I-595 will be off limits to drivers for the next four months beginning Monday morning.
That's while crews remove the southern 250 feet of the bridge and rebuild the ramp in it new location.
Construction workers raised the bridge a foot and a half over the weekend to allow for lane expansion below. The closure lasted 24 hours.
The I-595 construction is designed to give you a faster ride eastbound and westbound by 2014, by adding new lanes.
Drivers are asked to proceed with caution and observe posted speed limit signs.
