A Tampa-area woman upset with the slow pace at a fast food drive-thru rammed another customer's car and sped away, police said.
Jennifer Lynn Betterly, 24 was at a Largo KFC/Taco Bell drive-thru Saturday when she got impatient with the woman in front of her and started screaming at her, according to a Largo police report obtained by the Tampa Bay Times.
Betterly drove her Ford Focus into the woman's car and sped off, but was arrested an hour later, around 6:45 p.m., the report said.
She had a suspended license and a prescription pill bottle with an Ambien inside but couldn't prove it was prescribed to her, the report said.
Betterly was arrested on aggravated battery and possession of a controlled substance charges, as well as reckless driving, leaving the scene of a crash and driving with a suspended license.
