Increased Clouds, Highs in Mid 80s Thursday in SoFla

Scattered showers and thunderstorms in South Florida

Clouds will increase Thursday as early temperatures in the 70s will reach the low to mid 80s in South Florida.

South Florida will pass much of the day under broken clouds with overcast intervals. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be present this afternoon.

Although all communities will not see the wet weather, everyone has the chance for a shower or storm.  The likelihood of a thunderstorm will increase with the more sunshine we see.  If clouds linger, it will not be as hot and activity will probably be in the form of spotty afternoon rain.

This weekend, the chance of unsettled weather will increase, with thunderstorms in the forecast for both Saturday and Sunday.  Some storms from Saturday afternoon into Sunday may be severe.
