A grand jury has indicted a central Florida man in the deaths of his wife and her young children even though their bodies have not been found.

State Attorney R.J. Larizza announced Thursday that Luis Toledo will face first-degree murder charges in the deaths of 8-year-old Michael Otto and his 9-year-old sister Thalia. He is also charged with second-degree murder in the death of their mother, 28-year-old Yessina Suarez.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports grand jurors also indicted Toledo on tampering charges.

Suarez was reported missing on Oct. 23. Toledo was arrested and confessed that during an argument over their troubled marriage he struck her in the throat and killed her. He has denied killing the children.
