Man Killed, Teens Injured in Homestead Triple Shooting

Police investigate shooting that killed man, sent two teens to hospital

One man was killed and two teens were injured in a triple shooting in Homestead late Tuesday night.

The shooting happened around 11:45 p.m. in the 3400 block of Northeast 3rd Drive, Miami-Dade Police said.

Officers responding to a shooting in the area found the three victims, identified as 21-year-old Banave Fleurant, 18-year-old Elizabeth Lustin, and a 13-year-old boy.

Fleurant and Lustin were taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center, where Fleurant was later pronounced dead. Lustin remains hospitalized, police said.

The 13-year-old was taken to Homestead Hospital where he was in stable condition.

Police said the motive for the shootings is unknown and they are still investigating the incident.
