A man who slipped and fell into the water off Bal Harbour was rescued by police Wednesday morning.
The man was spotted in the water in the area of Collins Avenue and 103rd Street by a passerby who called 911, Bal Harbour Police officials said.
A Bal Harbour Police boat was able to pick the man up and take him to safety. Footage showed the man laying on the back of the police boat as officers put a life jacket on him.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and took the man to Aventura Hospital, where he's expected to be okay.
