Miami Heat's James Jones Visits Kids at Summer Camp

James Jones puts a smile on children's faces with a visit to the Little Haiti Cultural Center

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE A lucky group of Miami kids had the chance to go to a 2012 NBA Championship Summer Camp that came with an exciting bonus – the opportunity to meet Miami Heat player James Jones.

James Jones visited the Little Haiti Cultural Center to sign basketballs, talk to the children and answer some intriguing questions Thursday.

The kids asked Jones what size shoe he wore and how far he could throw. Jones said that he had a whopping shoe size of 17, and said that he can throw the ball from half court.

Jones once vowed that if he ever made it as a professional basketball player, he would interact with children like he had wished his childhood heroes would have done for him.

Jones’ annual basketball camp starts Tuesday at Florida International University.
