Muggy Tuesday Before Cold Front Moves Through South Florida

Temps could drop into 50s overnight

Tuesday will be warm and humid in South Florida before a cold front passes through dropping temperatures into the 50s overnight.

Wake up temperatures will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s and will rise into the lower 80s by early afternoon Tuesday.

Some dense fog was reported in inland Broward but was expected to burn off by mid-morning and will not impact populated areas. The morning will feature generally dry and partly sunny weather.

A cold front will pass through south Florida late Tuesday. Ahead of it, warm and muggy air will pump into the area. Scattered showers, and perhaps a thunderstorm, are possible this afternoon and evening. Showers should wrap up by midnight.

Skies will clear as temperatures drop overnight. Wednesday morning will feature 7 a.m. temperatures in the lower 60s and upper 50s.  Highs will max out in the mid 70s.  It will be brighter, cooler and less muggy.
