North Miami Police Search for Family Dollar Store Robbers

The men are suspected of stealing $129 and a $400 bracelet, police said.

North Miami Police are looking for two men suspected of committing an armed robbery at the Family Dollar store at 401 NE 125 Street Wednesday night.

One of the suspects placed a gun against a pregnant store manager's head before the duo made their demands, police said.

"You know that people who do these sorts of things are ruthless," said North Miami Police spokesman Neal Cuevas. "You know these people mean business."

They then made off with $129 from a cash register and a customer's 14K gold Gucci bracelet, worth about $400, police said. They then fled on foot, according to officials.

Now, police are hoping to put the men behind bars.

"If we don't catch these two individuals, we fear they will take it a step further and someone will get hurt," Cuevas said.

Anyone with information on the robbery is urged to call the North Miami Police Department at 305-891-8111 or Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
