A flood watch was in effect for Miami-Dade and Broward Wednesday until 10 p.m. with 1-3 inches of widespread rain expected.
Periodic rain will continue Wednesday, heavy at times, with the downpour affecting all of South Florida throughout the day.
A Flood Advisory had been issued for Key Largo and the Upper Keys due to reports of flooded roads through 8:45 a.m. Wednesday after the area received two inches of rain in just an hour.
A few areas of fog may present during the morning commute. Misty to foggy spots may persist through the day during times of showers.
Temperatures will range from the mid 70s to the lower 80s. It will be a struggle to reach the mid 80s will the cloud cover, rain and breeze.
Winds between 10-20 mph are forecasted and the high risk of rip currents persists at local Atlantic beaches. Prepare for gusty conditions with some of the passing showers.
Deep tropical moisture will linger over South Florida through the end of the work week, likely through the weekend. Several inches of rain now through then may lead to accumulating water on roadways.
