Police Investigate Triple Shooting in Miami Gardens

Two people in critical condition after Sunday night shooting at home

Police are investigating after three people were shot at a home in Miami Gardens Sunday night.

Officers responded to the home in the 4300 block of Northwest 168th Terrace around 9:40 p.m. after receiving calls of shots fired in the area, according to Miami Gardens Police spokesman Ralph Suarez.

Suarez said the officers found three people shot. Two of them were rushed to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition, and the third was shot in the arm and was expected to survive, Suarez said.

None of the victims have been identified.

There was a gathering at the home and it doesn't appear to have been a robbery, Suarez said.

No descriptions of the suspects were given but police are asking anyone with information to call Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
