Husband Held Without Bond in Wife's Death

Frankie Siew, 65, faces a second-degree murder charge

A man was being held without bond on Monday after being arrested in connection to his wife's death, authorities said.

Frankie Siew, 65, was facing a charge of second-degree murder after the homicide, which happened just before 5 a.m. Saturday in Sunrise on the 3300 block of NW 97th Terrace.

Siew allegedly killed his wife by kitting her head against the floor of their home, authorities said. Police said he gave a full confession to homicide detectives. 

The pair had been married for 41 years, police said.

It wasn't known if Siew had an attorney.
