Scattered Showers Tuesday in South Florida

Wet weather continues, highs near 80 degrees Tuesday

Scattered showers are expected again Tuesday in South Florida as early temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s.

Intervals of dry and mostly cloudy skies will break up the occasional wet weather. It will not be as wet as Monday, but most communities will still see a passing shower.

High temperatures will peak near 80 degrees.

It will still be windy, though gusts will not be as strong as Monday, which clocked in at almost 40 mph.  Rather, sustained winds will range from 15-20 mph and gusts will be closer to 25.  Either way, the onshore breeze will be noticeable.

Dangerous rip currents will be present at local Atlantic Beaches and small craft advisories are in effect.
