South Florida Woman Busted in Deodorant Theft Spree

Oakland Park woman helped steal over 130 sticks of deodorant: Police

An Oakland Park woman who police say stole dozens of deodorant sticks in an antiperspirant crime spree last summer in Fort Pierce was sweating it out behind bars Wednesday.

Dana Lee Frazier, 41, was arrested Monday for stealing over 130 sticks of deodorant from a Winn Dixie and a couple of CVS stores in Fort Pierce, according to a complaint affidavit.

In one incident in June, Frazier and her female accomplice stole 75 sticks worth between $4-$5 per stick from Winn Dixie, the affidavit said.

The same day, the pair struck two CVS stores, stealing hundreds of dollars worth of deodorant, according to the affidavit.

Frazier was arrested after she was named in a CrimeStoppers tip, police said. A warrant has been issued for her alleged accomplice.

Frazier is facing third-degree grand theft and organized fraud charges and was being held on $35,000 bond. It was unknown whether she has an attorney.
