Surveillance Video Shows Robber Taking Cash from Miami Cellphone Store Employees at Gunpoint

The man, who was caught on surveillance video, is seen as he enters the Metro PCS store located at 605 N.W. 62 Street posing as a customer, Miami Police said.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man that robbed a Miami cell phone store at gunpoint.

The man, who was caught on surveillance video, was seen on the video entering the Metro PCS store located at 605 N.W. 62 Street posing as a customer back on Nov. 13, Miami Police said.

The man pulled out a black pistol and demanded money from the two cashiers inside the store, police said.

The two employees put their hands up and began taking out cash from the drawers and placing it on the store’s counter, the video showed.

Police said the cashiers gave the robber all of the money in the drawers but did not specify the total amount taken by the robber.

The man left the cell phone store and fled in an unknown direction, police said.
