Thieves Robbed Deli of Thousands of Dollars: Cops

The two men were caught on surveillance video

Authorities were searching for two men caught on surveillance video stealing thousands of dollars from a Deerfield Beach deli.

The Broward Sheriff's Office said the men snuck into Second Avenue Market & Deli around 1 p.m. on Monday. The deli is located at 111 S.E. 2nd Ave.

The video shows the men walking around separately. One man appears to be in his 50s. Both men talk on their cell phones and at one point  the older man walks down a hallway, opens a door to get into an office. He puts the bank bag with the cash down the front of his pants, and they two walk by customers and leave.

Anyone with information is asked to call authorities at Crime Stoppers of Broward County at (954) 493-TIPS (8477) or online at www.browardcrimestoppers.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for tips leading to an arrest.
