Two Charged With Murder in Pembroke Pines Double Shooting

Two men face charges in shooting of two men

Two men are facing murder charges in the shootings of two men in Pembroke Pines, police said Tuesday.

Pascal Larrieux and Rodrigo Yepes, both 20, are being held without bond in the Oct. 29 shootings of 20-year-old Michael Javon Knowles and 19-year-old Deno Ricardo Reid, according to Pembroke Pines Police.

Police say they responded around 11:15 p.m. to the 11000 block of Southwest 16th Street to calls of shots fired. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, the other later died at the hospital.

The details of the shooting haven't been released and police are still investigating.

Larrieux has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder. Yepes is charged with two counts of third degree murder and one count of attempted third-degree murder.

Both were arrested Monday after an extensive investigation, police said. It was unknown whether either has an attorney.
