3 Men Break Into School, Go Swimming: Cops

Surveillance video shows the three men walking around the school in bathing suits

Three men broke into an Oakland Park high school, went swimming in the pool and vandalized the property, the Broward Sheriff's Office said Wednesday.

Authorities released surveillance video of the three people who broke into Northeast High School at 700 NE 56 Street around midnight on Sept. 27.

The video shows the men, who were in their late teens or early 20s, walking around their bathing suits, going into three school buses and stealing fire extinguishers from them, authorities said. They discharged an extinguisher inside a bus and on the roof of the girl's locker room. Another extinguisher was used to smash a cafeteria window, authorities said.

The three men aren't believed to be students at the school.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
