A typical summer-time weather pattern is in place for the next few days in South Florida before shower chances ramp back up later in the week.

Tuesday’s forecast will feature early morning showers, quickly replaced by afternoon sunshine. Highs will be around 89 with temperatures sticking around 80 Tuesday night.

More sunshine and drier air comes into the region on Wednesday before tropical moisture spills back in for Thursday and Friday, boosting storm chances. Expect partly sunny conditions with a few showers and temperatures again around 89.

Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for both Thursday and Friday.
