Heading into the weekend, mostly sunny skies and summer-like temperatures will continue across the area before isolated thunderstorm chances return to the pattern on Sunday afternoon.
                                 
By the start of the new work-week, storm chances will re-enter the forecast pattern, allowing summer weather to hang on into the first week of fall.

There are no named systems in the Atlantic basin at this time. Hurricane season runs through November 30th.
