After record rainfall Sunday in Key West, the wet weather continues early Monday for South Florida.
Periods of rain are expected, at times heavy, and a thunderstorm is also possible. Where the heaviest rain develops, communities could see around two inches of rain, with South Miami-Dade the most likely location. Portions of the Keys will also experience downpours.
Temperatures will be in the 70s.
Yesterday Key West picked up 4.34” of rain, setting a new record for rainfall on February 5th. Deep tropical moisture will continue to push across the area and fuel additions showers and storms.
A stationary front will linger locally Tuesday, bringing another day of scattered showers.
