They sent Miss Universe to Guantanamo Bay -- and she liked it.

Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza gushed about her visit recent trip to "beautiful" Guantanamo Bay and said she "didn't want to leave" the U.S. prison for terrorism suspects in Cuba because she found it "such a relaxing place, so calm and beautiful."

"It was a loooot of fun!" the brunette bombshell from Venezuela gushed on her blog. "The water in Guantanamo Bay is soooo beautiful!"

The 22-year old pageant queen and Crystle Stewart, Miss USA 2008, toured the base on Friday, met with detainees and witnessed a "very nice demonstration" of military dogs' skills, she wrote.

"We visited the Detainees camps [sic] and we saw the jails, where they shower, how the recreate themselves with movies [sic], classes of art, books," she wrote. "It was very interesting."

The beauties were only able to sun themselves on the beach for about an hour but made sure to take away with them a memento to remember the camp -- a necklace made by a local that "will remind me of Guantanamo Bay :)."

"I didn't want to leave," she wrote.
