Octo-mom Moves in On Her Own Reality Show

Nadya Suleman (plus 14) close in on television deal

If you thought Nadya Suleman's 15 minutes of fame were over, think again.

Television's favorite Octo-mom" may soon close a deal for her own reality show, People magazine reported today.

Of course, she'll have to share the screen with eight screaming newborns and her six other children.

Sources close to Suleman confirmed that the single mother and her lawyer, Jeffery Czech, have met with four production companies about doing a show. In the next few days, they will meet with executives from an undisclosed network, according to the People report.

Following other reality shows (like TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8"), Suleman's show will feature episodes chronicling such events as Suleman learning to drive a 14-passenger van, going on a date or planning a big family celebration.

"For the most part, the idea is generally to follow her and her family around when the babies get a little older," Czech told People.

"Like anyone else, she wants to be portrayed in a positive light and she feels she needs to do something to get her side out."

Although Suleman is tired of being in the spotlight, the show could be a way for her to ensure that she has enough money to care for her children without public help, Czech said.
