Bank Of America To Cut 675 Jobs In Fort Lauderdale

A total of 675 Bank of America workers at two Fort Lauderdale offices will be laid off, the company announced.

The layoffs will take place at offices that modify mortgages, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Thursday.

The layoffs will not affect any branches or the two customer service centers in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, company spokeswoman Christina Beyer was quoted by the newspaper as saying.
