A Yale Law School professor has a Web site that will help this guy put his money where his mouth is.

A Yale Law School professor knows all about the trials and tribulations of losing weight and thinks he's come upon a solution for everyone.

That's why he's created a Web site. He finally decided he needed to put his money where his mouth is.

Ian Ayres said he's tried dieting over the years, only to have all of the weight come back.  He described his battle in a commentary on the Yale Law School  Web site.

In it, he said that last year he bet a coworker he could lose 20 pounds and keep it off.  Each week, he entered into a "commitment contract" where he put $500 at risk. If he didn't meet his goal weight, he owed his coworker the money.

It worked. He shed 25 pounds and has kept it off for the last 40 weeks.

It worked for his coworker as well, who figured if it'd work for Ayres, it'd work for him, he wrote. The difference? He had more to lose - literally. He bets as much as $5,000 every other week on his goals.

And guess what? Neither man has lost a dime.  They say it can work for you as well.

    Enter: STICKK.

It's free - unless of course you put up money and lose.

You pick a goal, pick your stakes, and even decide whether you want a third-party ref to rule on whether you achieved your goal.  You don't have to put up money, but you can. Or you can just put up your pride and send your goal to a list of friends.

According to Ayre, it'll be a goal you can't afford to miss.
